i think that its good idea to open topic where ppl can say: 'at what kind server i wann to play' e,g: -skills in shop or from drop -7stone quest (what kind of item as a price - and check that not imbalance game) -puzzle quest ( the same as above) -money drop -metalz in shop or not? -what to fix (eg skills,arrows) and more rgrds

can u try to explain why? let me ques it get too many time to finish? :) or something else?

puzzle quest is hard to do in server side that it would work as i wanted it to work...i want player get reward directly without waiting admin to use admintool...and that is possible to do in 2 ways...both ways need programming and one is that it let player claim reward through website and one is that it require to create whole quest database again and possibly create new items...which is very hard to do since those ryl editors doesnt support editing quest.mcf and itemscript.gsf files in raw text format. But i can do it i think but it takes very much work and time but its possible...though im not going to waste time for that..atleast not yet....if someone is making mcfcoder to be compatible with ryl1 quest.mcf file, then its very easy to do. ive been -*test*-('")ing lately ryl2 almighty ground if i could get it work in ryl1 in way that it work in ryl2 but looks like its impossbile task...i was thinking of idea to replace 4 maps from ryl1 to one big map but i also wanted that atleast town area is safe zone for both races... Im going to -*test*-('") later if i can get statue war feature from lohan moved into ryl1 arena...think it would make bit more use for arena that way...also that way ppl could see arena status without stepping there first.

well i see here big plans :) tell me plz why wont open ryl server? is it any problem (hosting/internet connection/no money/worry about cheaters) im really interested in what u will say :) becoz i readed ( <- past form from this word @@" sry alot) that u beable to run server in very short time :)

sabbath, looks like you didnt play europe (is obvious lol). Samppa wont oppen the server by himself beacause his line is not powerfull enough to get a very big quantity of players (with that, i mean around 100+ in whole server); also, if you search very well in the forums, u will find that lots of ppl complain about lag blablabla (the best part was when we were around 40/50ppl playing this server without lag, that was awesome )(scandinavia1FTW), so, you cant just come and say "plz open" without know the past of scandinavia. (search in the forum a post from enkeli (samppas wife) and you will understand everything) And samppa, dont go with the puzzle quest edition, if someone is really interested in that, you will see that those who want it, will make for you the decoder compatible with the quest and stuff (what i mean is that everybody uses your scandinavia packet, so, you did all the work; now if they want something they must pay for that lol ---------rage mode on---> in any case, if you are bored and you do it, just DONT release that work, so you will start to c ppl in ragezone (or whatevertheplacetheycome) crying. Remember that your server was the original (in the sense of that all new server try to emulate scandinavia), and you are a pioneer editing ryl, so, what the hell? Its your work and effort what the people are playing with, and some of those ppl are not polite enough to take it thankfully or recognizing what you do.(smell rz)

I can host 20-30 ppl ok if i had good pc as dedicated server but 50 is bit too much and guaranteed lag :P I was running scandinavia server with amd athlon 2ghz, 1gb memory, windows server 2003 and 512kb connection lol But these days it takes for a while when online players reach that 30 even...it took over 2 weeks even in first scandinavia. Soon i might buy new pc when cpu prices drop so i might put this current one as server use or sell...dunno yet. Im planning for intel core2quad Q6600 cpu and 4gb memory....that would be more than enough to run ryl servers but im going to use it for other puposes. But all what host need these days to run ok ryl1 server is somewhat decent pc with 2gb memory and 2mb upload bandwith...that can host up to 100ppl online what is hard to reach these days.

lol sabbath u played in old europe but you posted so few messages (btw what was ur char name in game :D ) with the ftw i tryed to lets say, "translate" a spanish expresion but dnt really now if its the same so forget it ~.~U offtopic: holy machine you are going to get samppa @@, that with a 8800GTX nvdia dual sli would eat every game from now till a long time without problems lol (also any 3d edition software @@)
